This place suits me perfectly! With free wi-fi, a lovely outdoor pool, and a helpful 24-hour reception, I have everything I need. On my first stay, the staff even returned my forgotten hairbrush. Highly recommend!

Fantastic beach, needs small tweaks

Woke up to the sound of waves. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were always cheerful. The beach view from the hammock was the cherry on top.

However, there were no towel racks in the bathroom, which made reusing towels a hassle. Plus, the internet connection could be a bit unreliable at times.

I enjoyed the spacious junior suite, which had a lovely balcony and was just steps from the beach. The grounds felt lush and inviting with beautiful vegetation. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a variety of choices that made starting the day enjoyable. Staff at the restaurant were friendly and attentive, adding to the positive vibe of the stay. Unfortunately, the service at the bar was slow, and it felt like I was a bother each time I ordered a drink. There was also a significant issue with the internet connection, making it tough to stay connected. On top of that, my room didn’t have the promised balcony even though I booked based on that feature. Staff didn’t seem willing to accommodate my request to switch rooms. It felt like they prioritized revenue over guest comfort, striking a disappointing note during my visit.

The food was consistently delicious and well-prepared.

Our room had a clogged bathroom faucet that sprayed water everywhere, and despite reporting it, the issue was never resolved. The beach chairs were often in poor condition, which made relaxing there less enjoyable. Additionally, the front desk staff seemed disorganized, leaving us frustrated when simple questions went unanswered.

The beach was stunning and the all-inclusive food was genuinely delicious, especially the fresh smoothies! Just be aware the room showed a bit of wear and tear.

great food but expensive

The food was exceptionally good, probably the best we had during our trip in Mexico. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. We had a stunning garden view from our Junior Suite that added to our relaxation. The all-inclusive option proved to be a wise choice as we saved a lot compared to island dining prices.

However, the prices at nearby bars were quite shocking and made us reconsider going out for drinks.

We loved the fantastic beaches and activities like snorkeling and paddle boarding, perfect for our large family of five teenagers and two little ones. The sandy streets were a hit too, allowing us to explore the vibrant local scene at our own pace.

My kids wished the service at the pool area could be faster. Even though the setting was beautiful, we encountered long wait times during meals.

we loved our stay at villas hm paraiso del mar! we had a junior suite on the first floor with a lovely balcony, offering great privacy. the lush vegetation around the rooms really made us feel connected to nature, and being right on the beach was such a treat. the staff was super friendly, especially gabino, who made our stay feel special and unique!

Only minor issue was our arrival experience. it would have been nice to use the all-inclusive package right away.

i recently visited holbox again and villas hm paraiso del mar was a fantastic choice! the room was spacious with a comfy bed, and the beach bar made relaxing so easy. the staff were so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, making it a truly memorable experience.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, our spacious junior suite offered a lovely terrace with a hammock, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation after our journey with a paid airport shuttle.

Family with kids relaxing spot

A couple of things stood out from our stay, like the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room, really nice for a family. The staff were super helpful, especially this one guy, Cesar, he really went out of his way to. Another highlight was the private beach area, so we had a stress-free spot away from the crowds, perfect for our kids to play.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the experience we had, it was still acceptable.
